My girlfriend and I are currently in Pampovo at the moment (Perelik hotel-good choice). The snow conditions are improving by the hour. Although today the snow was so relentless many people retired a little early (to enjoy an early beer such as myself). This was our fourth day skiing and all the runs were now easy to ski and had good cover. Previously runs down to the bottom lift were muddy and hard to ski and the whole of the base camp area was ice, i'm glad to say with last nights and todays snow this has been resolved. The forecasts would suggest it is going to continue to snow and looking out the window now it would seem they're not wrong! In all the skiing, hotel, food, beer etc have all been excellent. Those arriving on saturday are going to have excellent snow and sun if only I was staying. Well im off to gain some dutch courage for the wall tomorrow, if I can i'll report again if not, those going soon are guaranteed good conditions.
