Hi,

I have just spent a week in Pamps. I know that there are some property owners watching this forum, so I thought a brief update might be in order. Most of what follows centres on the area around the Castle, as my own apartment is in the same road.

CASTLE

The cr@ppy access road is now nice new tarmac, from the main road, past the Castle and stopping at the far end of the Evridika Hills buildings. However they have already dug a bit of it up !

Reception not manned (at least not during the half dozen times I visited the shop). Shop was open. Restaurant and pub both closed for the low season. Adventure shop not yet set up. Lots of nasty looking builders debris on the piste which runs along the back. A few builders doing small jobs on what I believe is Castle 3. A small children's play area has been set up.

EVRIDIKA HILLS

Both buildings are externally finished, but there is some work to do internally. No builders onsite.

PANORAMA RESORT

As above, but there is more internal finishing work required that at Evridika (from what I could see). No builders onsite.

SNOW ANGEL

Oh dear... this is a concrete skeleton and has not progressed since I was there last year as far as I can see.

NEVADA APTS

Finished and look really nice, you lucky people.

PAMPOROVO PEARL

This is my block. Has been finished for some time, however at least half of the apts are unoccupied. Oh well, at least I get a quiet night's sleep !

PANORAMA HOTEL

A swimming pool is being built around the back. It is about 10 paces long by 6 paces wide.

MID STATION

Oh my God! There is a huge horrific looking building which has wiped out one of my favourite eating places - just behind where the huskies used to be parked. Again, lots of building debris on the piste, including some very dangerous looking steel bars for reinforcing concrete sticking out of the ground. If that is not cleared by the time the snow comes, someone is going to get hurt this season.

My overall impression is that there is very little building work going on. Despite the economic crisis I would have thought it worth finishing off those properties which are already 95% complete (i.e Pamorama Resort and Evridika ??) What do I know...

I took some video and I could have a crack at putting it on Youtube or whatever if needs be.
