Pamporovo Jan 18th

Hi, flying out on Saturday 18th, can anyone tell me what the slopes are like, in particular the long green run that goes from the top to the bottom? With no recent snow fall is there a lot of ice out there? Panicking a tiny bit as not the most confident of skiers!!!! Thanks...

Jane.
All but 2 of the slopes are open. Green down to Malina fine. some hard. compacted snow in places. You have to choose your route down.

Best conditions in the morning. Any serious ice is cordoned off. You will be able to ski every day. Staff working hard to make snow when temps allow. So fresh snow right at the top. Rain down in the resort at the moment on and off. Dont worry!

Hi Jane.

It is changing on a daily basis. First is was going to come on 20th. Then was down in Smolyan this morning and was told 25th!

Best thing is not to worry about it. cos we cant really do anything about it.

Pamporovo is in a much better situation that the other Bulgarian Resorts thats for sure!

You will definately be skiing on most the majority of the pistes.
