Pamporovo Palace

Hi, anyone been out to Pamporovo lately? I went out in May and the whole area was a building site. I've got an apartment in the Palace and if anyone has visited lately, be pleased to hear. I'm going out again late August or Sept and hope to see it finished

Hi EustonIve bought in the royal lodge apartments and would be chuffed to get someone whos on the grounds thoughts on the progress. Lets just hope its not going to be overdeveloped.

Hi Monty,No problem, when I go out there I will have a look at the royal lodge for you. If you want to send me details of the apartment etc I can talk to the developers for you and take some pics. Have you bought Phase 1? I have a great contact and friend over there who picks me up from the airport and runs me around so its no problem checking on other developments - he happens to be one of the mountain rescue guys as well so handy to know during the season!!

I hope to go out when it's built, but as this is supposed to be the end of the year and i'm spending xmas and new year in Canada, i'm not sure if the timing will be right or that i'll be able to get the time of work, So any information you manage to find out would be appreciated.

Hi Maria,No problem, there seems to be some interest in the Royal lodge so will take some pics and a video while over there. I will post the info on here for anyone else interested and have saved yours and Monty's email and will forward the detail. Let me have your apt number and I will see if I can get an "inside" view for you. I'm going out there for Christmas and new year too (providing MY apt is ready) so can keep you up to date then as well. Euston

It sounds as though you have been out a few times, where are you flying from and to.Is it very expensive and have you heard anything about smaller airlines taking an interest yet. Living down south i'm hoping later on Bournmouth or southampton might do flights.Maria

Only been out once and that was in to Sofia, I have a friend out there in Chepelare. Sofia is the best option in terms of the flight and costs, last time I went from Heathrow it was £68 each way. The charter flights to Plovdiv are much more expensive and limited in terms of days out and back, but like all these, you can get last min cheapies, if there are any left! I did ask on the board if anyone knew of any other flights to Plovdiv but apparently only one airline does it and thats ...
