Sorry, dont think last message got through.
Trying to book ski school for a 7 year old. They won't accept her through balkan (supposed to be . But 2 other children in the group are 8 and they all want to be together.
Does anyone know if you can book ski school when you are there for 7-8 year olds, and if so, approx how much.
Thanks.
Hi Anita it did get through you just need to scroll down a page...
we have suggested you dont send them to kindergarten and def. book private lessons when you get there.
But..... its probably as cheap to book the other two in ski school and get the kindergarten pass for the other as you will get the free ski lift pass for them with that.
Then when you get there you just need to get the boots and skies for the seven year.

There is a ski place next door to Steves Snow Shack which offers private tuition but you could do with trying to book that before you go, I dont have details for it but if you try to contact Steves Snow Shack through this site sure they can try to help you.
its about 30lev an hour for tuition - thats regardless I believe of how many children but could be wrong, I would suggest you only need to book them for two hours a day as its going to tiring for them if there are only 3 in the group.
sorry anita PP says on your ealier link just tell them she is 8 and no one will check, but not sure how you get around that with Balkan - if they wont let you even book ski school for the 7 year old.
you may have to pay when you get there, and it may cost more that way than with Balkan
good luck
we are in same boat taking our 7 year old next year and dont realy want him in kinder in case he is bored
but i think we will put him in and take it a day at a time
think you will have him out after the first day - it does also depend on who else is in kindergarten if there are plenty of kids the same age and they pal up then it makes it much easier.
There are so many nice private instructors out there, we had to get one for an eleven year old she was struggling in the ski school classes and was getting so upset every day with it, so we got a lovely lady to take her and now she cannot wait to go back next year - thats the main thing if you love ski-ing ...

My 6 year old is booked for Learn to Ski lessons in Pamps through my tour operator and they have assured me (twice) that there is no problem with ski lessons for this age group. Perhaps it is worth phoning your tour operator
