It was a lovely wedding and certainly brought the mid station to a standstill. We stopped the music from the bars, rang bells, threw confetti, lit lanterns and drank champagne. We have just got back from a celebratory meal out with them - a wonderful day all round.
As for the ski conditions - damn near perfect I would say - pistes in great condition and lots of fresh snow. Smolyan lakes run was open too. Watched the bike competition on the wall (those blokes are natters!) and it was quite a surreal experience skiing down the runs accompanied by bikes!
Resort is not too busy - so queues are non existent apart from the 10am 3 man lift queue - otherwise all is pretty hunky dory!
