Pamporovo to Bansko

Does anyone know best way to get to Bansko from Pamporovo?

I noticed looking at train timetable you can get a train which takes 4.5hrs but someone today said it wasnt possible.

Another suggestion was bus to sofia then bus to Bansko which seems crazy.

Any suggestions?

Hi there is a train from plovdiv to bansko but it takes forever you are much better getting the bus, it takes a lot less time and is more comfortable

The road through Velingrad is often closed by snow and is a dangerous drive in winter, albeit beautiful. The best route is indeed back through Sofia.

the best way is a bus to plovdiv , then you can get a bus to Bansko, there is no need to go to Sofia, that is a long way round.
