Pamporovo virgin

Hi All,jetting off to Pamps on 8/2/08, never been to Bulgaria before in my life, but this forum has been extremely helpful if not somewhat contradictory at times. A few questions if someone can help.
1. Can you get wifi access for laptops.
2. Is it better to change sterling over there and whats the current rate.
3. Do you need normal 2 pin plug adaptors.
4. Any other helpful advice would be appreciate.

Can change money over there, newnotes prefered, and sterling rather than euro.Not particulary fond of travellers cheques when we last went. Check they give you exchange rate advertised or use bank ATM. Get aprox 2 levs to the pound at mo.
You need two pin plug adapter but cant remember if it is flat pins or rounded.
I know other skiers who have taken laptops and used them to stay in touch with people back home so there must be some sort of wfi access, but you need to know you ...

We have always had a brilliant time in Pamps, lots of friendly people, the bell sellers will be at the bottom of slopes, just tell them you will buy one on last day, but be prepared for them to remember you on last day!!! You will end up buying one!!!

Hi Daryl,2 pin round for the plugs.
There are a few internet rooms around (definately one in the Prespa). Ask at your reception, they should know.
Bell men - don't look them in the eye or they'll get you. They're not bad blokes though. Funny names -you'll see !

Hey Daryl, get yourself down the bottom of the mountain on Monday afternoon for a 4pm drink in the Markony. (See the Pamporovo - roll call 7th Feb thread for more info.)There looks to be quite a crowd gathering.
