Bulgaria Ski discussion board

I’m due to fly out tp Pamporovo on the 24th and I’ve just found out that my wife won’t be able to travel. This leaves me ith a dilemma. I’m taking 2 kids with me aged 8 and 13. We’re all beginners and we’re in the ski school all day. I think the youngest is going in the kindergarten ski school. Obviously we’ll all be busy during the day but is there anything to do during the venings? I can get drunk and amuse myself quite happily but I’m not sure about the kids. We’re staying the the Finlandia. What do you think?

Not wanting to encourage you in taking the kids to the pubs, but they would be welcome in all bars in Pamps. There is a bar in the Ten-pin bowling alley in the Perelik where you can have a drink and keep an eye on the kids having fun. There are also lots of machine games there too.

Also an American pool bar which is always full of kids their age where you can also get a beer. This is also in the Perelik.

A day bar where you can play cards etc with them and still drink.
We have been going to Pamps for 13 years and when we are all together there will be about 50 of us from UK, Holland, Russia, Denmark, and of course Bulgaria. You are welcome to join in our fun anytime and the kids would be no problem.

Apart from all the activities mentioned, it might be a good idea to try and hook up with some other people with kids. (You might be able to find some lurking here.....). That way the kids can play with each other and look after each other and the adults can all camp out in the hotel bar alongside them -to provide the pocket money as required! Last year we were in the hotel Pamporovo, and used the bowling bar for this purpose - has ten pin bowling, chess and other games, pool tables etc. It spreads the load and your not in each others face all the time...
