Hi everyone, still at a loss what to do.I have checked with Balkan, and they will not let a 7 year old do ski school.
However, with 5 other children in the party (age range 7-10) we want them all together.
I just dont know who to contact, should we cancel all the kids ski school and book them all into somewhere when we get there, and if so who with.
We are stopping at Hotel Finlandia that says it has ski school. Does anyone know anything about this.

I would keep the other kids ski school as you wont save much if anything at all by hiring ski's boots and the ski pass
You may find when you get there they will let her pay separate to go in ski school -will the 7 year go on their own for a private ski lesson? if they will they will get some nice instructor who will look after them and they will find they will learn more than the rest.
4 hours ski school a day could be too much for a 7 year to handle - depending on the child really.

anita..were all going tomorrow 25/2 to pamporovo staying sc at the monastary....out of all our party my little girl is only 7 and going in the kindergarten club...if your worried because i am, it would be nice to know there is another english child in the same group....let me know what you think maybe we could meet up and introduce the 2 and then i would feel better....re: Pamporovo

Anita, you may have read this already but... it must be OK for 7 year olds to go to ski school as my 6 year is booked in via a tour operator and they have assured me twice that this is OK. Assuming they are honest, which I have no reason to doubt, perhaps the best option is to keep everything you have booked so far and then book the 7 year old in to the same group lessons on the day. we are going 25th from birmingham staying in the prespa, my son has just had his 8th birthday yesterday and he went to Kindergarden last year loved it so much he can't wait to go back this year could'nt talk him into skiing with us, he met lots of new friends. We have booked with Balkan holidays so we will drop him off at ski depot 1pobably meet you at the pick up on the sunday morning, his name is Callumre: Pamporovo
