Pamporovo

Does anybody know if you can buy firelighters in Pamporovo? We are useless at making our fire it takes ages to get going and then we can't put it out when we want to!!

Hmmm, not sure. I'd guess you could at the petrol station just out of Pamps towards Chepalare. Or perhaps at the 24Hr supermarket.

We get ours from the Petrol station on the way to Smolyan on a shopping trip or if we're lazy get our site management team to light the fires for a couple of euro

You could allways take some candles and break one up into pieces and wrap these pieces in newspaper ( the one you bought on the way out at the airport) these will make excellent fire lighters.

I bought them from Asda b4 i went out, wrapped them in tin foil and stuffed them in my boots and checked them!

The little shop at the Castle had them last year. They worked at treat. They had a head like a match on them. All you had to do was light that, stick it under a thin piece of wood and away you go.
