Pamporovo

Hi new to the Ski World and heading off to the Belmont Hotel on the 14th of March with my hubby and 14 year old son. Can anyone tell me what the dress code is at night and what the cost of living is there. Any other information would be a great help.

Dress code is informal whatever you feel comfy in. The Belmont is a bit out of the resort centre so if you want to come into "town" you will have to get a taxi always agree a price before you set off.

Cost of living well do not believe the hype in the brochures that say how very cheap it is this is simply not true anymore certainly not on the mountain, but still better than other European resorts.

Try and get out into the resort and eat at least once if you can as the food can be so ...

Try and get out into the resort and eat at least once if you can as the food can be so much better than hotels. I would recomend the BBQ restaurant at the Hotel Mourgavets and the White House which is opposite the Hotel Pamporovo, both very good.

Not really - we stayed at the Elina 2 years running and the Belmont is nearby there. We did walk into town a few times - it took about 20 minutes.

you could always get one of the local restaurants to pick you up - the Chanove have a mini bus.

Hi Nicky,

The hotel food is a little on the cold side but they have a microwave so you can heat things up.

The only fault i found was that its located outside the resort. We aggreed a taxi fare with one taxi man to take us for the week for 15lv each way. But there is a bus service but they leave quiet early to go to town. One night we got a taxi from a different driver who charged us 25lv, a complete rup off but hey we paid it cos its still cheap compared to Dublin.

The cos of things depends what your buying......

If theres anything else i can help you with let me know Very Happy
