Pamporovo

Anyone planning in going top Pamps at half-term next year.

I stayed at Hotel Pamporovo last year. How does Perelik compare??

Very different. Pamporovo is very nice. Perelik is adequate.
Stayed at the Perelik last year, freinds stayed at the Pamporovo and it looked a lot nicer. Only problem is, what you pay is what you get. I priced up going this year; 2 adults 1 child and there is a £200 diff from Perelik to Murgavets and another £200 to Pamporovo. You can save the money but the hotel isnt as nice.
Your choice price or comfort.
I picked the middle ground and am going to the Murgavets Jan 15th.

Going to Borovets this year - but I can tell you about the Perelik (stayed there in 2002, but last went inside it in Jan this year). Not as nice a hotel as the Pamporovo (but is cheaper), but still quite nice. Its in a good location though, centre of the resort, shops, bars and clubs etc. You can access the shops without going outside, also got a bowling ally. Food is no better or worse than the other hotels. Hope this helps.

Don't do the Perelik - could also be called the Perilous.

Go for the Murgavets instead - chalk and cheese...

did pamporovo at christmas then murgavets in march. did look round perilik but didnt like the feel of the place
murgavets was better than pamp. and the staff where a lot more hospitable esp the three guys on the door, couldnt ask for them to be any more helpful
