As i have probabaly posted before i am going to pamporovo and staying at the hotel pamps as a beginner for the first time. .......... has anyone got any tips for a newcomer to pamps/bulgaria ans can anyone tell me what to expect. All i want is a great holiday and to enjoy learning to ski. I am also vey worried because i am mixed race and i have heard that bugarian people can be quite racist. i am a big traveller and have never had this anywhere else so i am a little worried. please put my ...

My first skiing holiday to Bulgaria was to Pamparovo and I can assure you that for a beginner or fairly novice skier/boarder it is really awesome (as long as the snow conditions remain as they are or better). The ski/board instructors were really good, the prices for drinks and meals are really cheap and the people were really friendly and I honestly can't see them having any issue whatsoever with the fact that you are of mixed race.You'll love skiing and and you'll love Bulgaria.

You will have a wonderful time. We went to Borovets so I can't speak for Pamps but we found all the Bulgarians to be friendly and to go out of their way to make your holiday enjoyable.The was a large Asian family staying in our hotel last time we went and we certainly didn't witness any racism and neither did we hear about any.

been to bulgaria for the last six years and as far as im aware they dont dislike anyone apart from there own gypsies and even then they are not that bad so please go and enjoy yourself and there is plenty of snow there just got back from borovets myself noy so much snow there at the moment but enjoyed it just the same, just have a good skire: Pamporovo

Hi HayleyI was in Pamps over Christmas. Best place to get a steak is in the Markoney Hotel, £5 for big t-bone with chips..
It was my 1st time skiing too and I had a great time
