Pampovoro Ski-doo's

We are off to Pampovoro late Feb and we are looking to take a Ski-Doo tour if poss.

Does anyone know if it is best to pre-book or book while we are there and what they normally cost?

Thanks

re: Pampovoro Ski-doo's

The boro ski-doo's are very dissappointing! The only good part is the view off the side of the cliff you see when you stop half way! The track is very bumpy, spine jarring if you go over 20mph and even the windscreen fell off our machine after about 2 minutes. The guide had the personality of a brick and it only lasted half of the 1 hour we paid for.
As an experience I am glad we did it but I was annoyed that they had the cheek to charge us about 50 quid for their hassle!!!

re: Pampovoro Ski-doo's

we went at half term Feb 05 & my husband & son went on it with a few friends in Pamps. They came back shattered & stinking of petrol but said it was great. We just booked at our welcome night (with Balkan hols), I think it cost about £30 but can't quite remember but it seemed reasonable at the time & they said they went for miles. The worst bit for them was ski-dooing on the roads but when they got on the snow it was fine. Where are you staying in Pamps - we going back to the Finlandia ...

Where are you staying in Pamps - we going back to the Finlandia in Feb 06, its a bit out the way but the drinks were really cheap last year & hotel was good so we thought we would play safe & go there again.

Good luck Very Happy Booze Booze

Have done both Borovets and Pamparovo, and will do them again this year. Book in the resort - have a word with your ski instructor for the best deal.

skidoos are absolutly fab!! they do smell a little but its amazing! the views in pamps the one i went on was brill!!! the only thing with the ski instructors is although they may well mean well, if they recomend a skidoo the WILL be getting a commision! they only earn around £70-100 a month so u cant blame them for trying to make a living. BUT at the end of the day that skidoo may not be insured or maintained. you are better off going with a tour opperator u know u are covered, afterall u ...

BUT at the end of the day that skidoo may not be insured or maintained. you are better off going with a tour opperator u know u are covered, afterall u are on holiday to have a great time. with crystal and thomson its only £22- nothing! if u wanna go a bit faster then speak 2 the rep, they organise the bookings and can put like minded people on the same trip so u dont get a slow coach in front of u!
have fun!
