Pamps 17th

Pete

Glad you enjoyed your trip, you certaintly touched for weather in Bansko and start of week in Pamps.

Starting to feel we might not be so lucky. Going to Pamps 17th. Earlier in the week some of the weather boards (ok I know they change) were showing some hope for next week. However while temps look a bit lower than now for next week there is not much sign of snow, with next week end looking bright and sunny.

BG News sight has depressing story of 20% temps this week and snow ...

I know you are neither Benson or Hornstar but what's the chances the locals you met might be correct in their snow predictions.

What is worst case scenario if there is not a decent dump soon. Will skiing be limited to top slopes and more nb can this handle the half term influx

Lot of questions I know but badly need some INSPIRATION.

re: Pamps 17th

I can do many things KJ - but alas I cannot change the weather. The current conditions are as strange to me as they are the Bulgarians and this season is just bonkers with regards to snow.

2nd Feb I arrived - very little snow. 3rd Feb - snow in abundance and we enjoyed some great skiing allbeit less that we normally have had in 15 years of going the same time.

Keep the faith buddy - I am pretty sure that more snow is imminent and it only takes 24 hours of snow to put it back on track ...

re: Pamps 17th

Thanks

Pete

Will try to keep the faith, but still hate the tought of the weather boards being correct.

Even if there is no further snow, will it still be possible to get some skiing in up at the tower.

Will be nice to Old Ladies, Chelsea supporters, and even to any England rugby fans arriving in Dublin early for the match at Croker - ok only kidding with last bit.

re: Pamps 17th

Well, on Saturday the back blue, new red and t bar runs were perfect for skiing but with high temps and high numbers of skiers, a new fall is much needed to maintain these runs.

Take a moment to feel sorry for a Welshman that thought we had a chance of winning the 6 nations Crying

Thanks for that.

Still trying to work out why we decided not to tackle that tiny little French man twice on Sunday.
