Pamps 2016

Just back from a great 2 weeks in pamps. Conditions spot on ( 1st week v cold ⛄️. All runs open. Queues at Malina on the long side compared to most years. Anthony at two bridges confirmed the new Poma chairlift should be open for next season as just the operatives hut to build in spring/ summer. He also said they were putting in a new lift and run from Malina as well this summer, again to be open next year which should help.
Has anyone else heard about this and where it will go?

New Lift from Malina is going to link to Mechai Chai (Chapelare).

Pamporovo Ltd purchased Chapelare resort last year.

Work to start in the Summer and will be completed for 2017 season.

All the permissions to run the lift and cut the piste have been granted.

The piste will have snow making equipment installed.

Contract signed with Poma for completion date 2017.

This is definitely not rumour, from George the manager of the lift system and pistes

I sincerely hope you're right Jody and I don't want to pour cold water on your comments
but those of us who have been going to Pamporovo for donkey's years will tell you that
we've heard all this before. Contracts signed, gondolas being built, blah blah blah but nothing
ever happens. Lets wait and see before we all get too excited.

Thanks for details Jody, definite the new chairlift will be open at 2 bridges next season and sounds promising for the chepalare link for 2017 so all good for Pamps.
