Pamps Cattle buses?

Been to Boro 2 years running and feel we've done Boro now. How does Pamps compare? Will Pamps feel a backward step compared to Boro? Bit put off Pamps, by the buses shown on the Piste map. Hate public transport at best of times and imagine the sort of bus at the Airport which takes you to the plane; herded around like a load of cattle. Anyone been to both and can offer a meaningful comparison please? Cheers y'all

re: Pamps Cattle buses?

Kinda par for the course at many ski resorts, had the same bus set up in Heavenly (South Lake Tahoe in California) and Chamonix.

re: Pamps Cattle buses?

Having been to both Borovets and Pamporovo, the bus to the slopes in Pamps didn't bother me that much, it's only a few minutes really. But i do feel that Pamps has less to offer in the way of runs.

Pamps is great for beginners, and for good intermediates, but as a low intermediate myself I felt there wasn't that much for me. I think if you are an advanced skier or a very good intermediate then Pamps might be a bit limited.

Borovets has much more choice of runs, and I liked it much ...

Borovets has much more choice of runs, and I liked it much better. So did my boys who are pretty much advanced boarders now after 4 times.

Also something to take into account, Pamps is a lower resort, and situated further south so is less likely to have good snowfalls. It was pretty dire when we were there last year.

As for apres ski, brilliant in both places!
