Noticed in your report that you're thinking of knocking the cigs on the head.

Used to say stopping smoking was the easiest thing in the world, I'd done it loads of times! ... but ... I've just past the 12 day mark due to electronic cigarettes, Still getting nicotine, still inhaling from a cigarette like thing, and most importantly, still blowing 'smoke' out.

It's not cheap, but it's cheaper that cigs, but google e-cigarette for the huge range of options. I first went with a Mirage ( google Mirage cigarettes) then went for a few others, and now I'm back with the Mirage as my e-cig of choice.

Worth a shot, as I say, you're still actually smoking, still getting nicotine (which you can reduce as time goes on), but none of the other 4000 odd chemicals and zero tar! Have a look, especially on youtube, for reviews and stuff ... and check a web page called e-cig reviews.

Thanks Robert - we have actually got them but I am using the plastic inhalers that seem to suit me better.

A 40 year habit that saw me at times smoking 60 fags a day and I wonder why I'm out of breath after a black run?

I know it's going to be sheer hell but I have never been more determined to break this filthy habit as I am now.

I 've always been a very detemined person and very little ever stops me from achieving what I want - but this has beaten me for so many years it's time to say enough is enough and show that I am the boss of my body - nobody and nothing else can make that decision except me!

I spend about £4,000 a year on cigarettes which is beyond stupidity, and when a 7 year old child asked me last week why I smoked I just could not answer him.

So that's it!
40 years @ 40 fags a day = over half a million fags smoked in my lifetime - pathetic and I ain't gonna do it ever again!

WAS Not having a dig at you at all, personally i want to give up th Fags lost my Dad to Lung Cancer last year, he never smoked ever!!! I was an idiot gave up for 2 years then as soon as Dad was diagnosed i started to smoke again.Tell you what Pete I will do Give Up A Smoke a thon with U. I go to BG on 6th Feb for few days, when im back how about doing a Utube Diary, i will support U and U can support me, we can open a donation page, people can decide wher the money goes as i am srue you dont want to get involved after the orphane last year
