Pamps Review.....

Just back from Pamps. Overall I enjoyed the holiday, there were a few misgivings.

Firstly the flights were horrible. The 12 hour delay flying out could have been a lot shorter if

language wasn't such an issue. As for the balkan planes I would rather fly easy jet with a drunk pilot,

but top marks to the pilot for both getting the lumbering beasts in the air and down again in one

piece... my hats off to you you brave brave men.

Secondly the Rep, the reptile from hell. A quick tip to you.

"I am pleased to tell you, you have not paid for board hire" for one of our party

Is not a good way of breaking to us that some sleasebag is trying to rip us off, we did pay your saw

our documentation. It is at this point where you apologise for the shortcomings of the travel

operator and attempt to help. Not gloat that you are "In the right" and there is nothing we can do

about it.

But the hype over Pamps can be a little over the top.

I was looking forward to BJ's but finding it full of 13 year olds knocking back alchopops till 2 in the

morning and girating on a pole was somewhat not quite what I was expecting. (Go to the Paralax

for that ( Older women )) I am sure however some degenerates would pay an entrance fee. The

staff are great though and the prices are fantastic. Must apoligise to the barman for not selling you

my monkey T-Shirt...

I wouldn't go full board again , the slops in the hotel Murgavets were unpaletable at best. Maybe I

am being cruel but the hotel food left a bad taste in my mouth... pardon the pun. Eating out is

always the best option. The Red Sun Chinese was a great place to eat with lovely staff and

delicious food.

Boarders beware of pamporovo.

The ski instructers do hate you, it's not paranoia. Some of them think that Actuall slagging us off in

english as we pass thier school gives them favour with thier class... it doesn't it, makes you look

like intollerant imbeciles. Also having a group of learner skiiers snowplowing or zigzagging in a

long train down a red/black run in front of you can really put you off your stride, not to mention some

random Bulgar waltzing up the piste with shopping bags in hand.

Highlight of the holiday was jumping off the lifts during an electrical storm.

Ahaa what you say soulnd like you had a horrid time but.. there was some good things.

Other than the food the Hotel and Staff at the Murgavets were first class, clean and warm.

The snow was brilliant.

I struggled to spend 650 lv ( £250 )

Hope this helps

Good report that Doogie. I have stayed at the Murgavets 5 times now and the last time was in January. I avoided the food it is ok but you can eat out for peanuts and the food is so much better.

re: Pamps Review.....

My bad you just looked 13.

Ok a revise,

"A bunch of screaming 16 year olds on alchopops acting like 13 year olds.... "

I know you are free to have a good time, I thought if you were 13ish then the behaviour was forgivable but christ you were older ? what were you thinking.
