Hi All

We had our 1st day back at home in the mountains yesterday and when we got here basically said bugger the shopping its too good to miss the slopes today!!!

You'll be pleased to know the slopes are in perfect nick and all is good on the mountain!!! There has been a rather large dump a couple of days ago and the whole mountain is open!!!

All runs are boarding very well and we almost had the place to ourselves yesterday - Bulgarian 4 day holidays start tomorrow so i gues the locals will be up now making it a little longer to que at the lifts - all of 3 mins!!!!

Happy days but gotta go and buy a turkey for Christmas Day now!!

Hi All

Little Christmas Eve update for - apologies we have been without the old tinterweb for the last few days!!!!

All slopes bar the wall have been open all week and are in very good nick!!! The wall is being worked on every day so i guess there are some local comps in the next few days.

The snowboard fun park was being built today and I'm sure it was ready by the afternoon to have a play Xmas morning ;-)

Stoykite runs are particularly good and they have not groomed the bottom of one making for great fun!!!!


Gotta tan today while playing in the snow - does Christmas get better than that!!!

So a day off the boards as its Boxing Day and it's tradition in our place to go on the Boxing Day hike around the slopes instead.

It's fair to say you see more when walking around and I'm pleased to report there is lots going on still up at mid station! All very good with a number of places around the chairlift being finished. Many eateries up there now with sun decks and bars to enjoy a snifter after a hard mornings boarding :-)

Not too many to spoil the place - but enough to keep visitors to our mountain happy!!

We've gone all electronic too at each main chair lift there are electronic notice boards letting you know what is going on and what runs are open - and believe it people........we now have by it yourself electronic ticket machines that take credit cards so you don't have to queue for ages!!!! (not that we have had to anyway) and finally you don't even need to go to the bank in town to get cash kids, there's now a whole in the wall at mid station!!!!

A great day exploring and in terms of snow conditions - there is a bit of a thaw going on through the day but all runs are holding up pretty well! Think of it as spring time conditions but the best I have ever seen in pamps in seven years.

Great to be here and the season has got off to a great start
