Pamps Snow Question

Disappointed beyond belief at the snw conditions, esp since I finally convinced my girlfriend to go skiing at long last. So many comments - it's bad, it will snow, it won't, it's icey, it's not so bad for learners, etc. But what's the truth? Will she be able to get to ski at all, even snow plough will do and what else is there to do? Never been there before
