There is a good chance of snow in Bulgaria on Sunday. Probably only a dusting though. The higher mountains will have temperatures well below zero.

You are correct, snow is identified with black lines but then again I don't pay much attention to Metcheck forecasts as they aren't very reliable.
I reckon that there will be a slight dusting on the higher mountains.

I cannot see it snowing this weekend in pamps. The temperature at the moment according to the midstation cam is 14 degrees. I would imagine they are in for a lot of rain.

Pamps is too low for snow this weekend. Bansko and Borovets are looking promising though.

Hi Hornster--interesting little one this weekend. If the current low and associated weather slips a couple hundred miles further east I reckon we could see snow on all the high levels-even Pamps---did you know the last lot of snow that fell late September even gave a dusting at the top in Pamps? (at the top peaks-Snezhanka)....mind you at the mo it looks like even Bansko/borovets are on a tightrope. Still, nice to be talking snow at last eh?

Benson, yip I agree, it's always nice to be talking about snow again as it means that winter is just around the corner (hopefully!).
I'm hopeful that this winter will prove to be a great deal better than the last one, so as yourself, I will be monitoring the weather models and charts with keen interest.
