Pamps advice

Thanks for all the useful info, as a family new to ski it's a great place for info, so lets put you to the test!

Late deal with Thompson, flying to PDV on 25th Jan, allocation on arrival, I know we might end up in Borovets but Pamps is looking more likely. Thomspon just told me I can't book lift pass/ski lessons cos we're allocation on arrival, I get the idea that it's likely to be more expensive to book when I arrive, so how much are we looking at?

2 adults, 2 kids, do they do 3 days ...

re: Pamps advice

Looks like you are on our flight - what a fab time you are going to have - you may even end up in ski school with little ole me.

Whilst it's about double the price at the resort, it's still so much cheaper than anywhere else in the world.

have a great time. As most regulars will tell you-everything is possible in Bulgaria-at a price, though it will still be less than elsewhere.

re: Pamps advice

Ski passes will cost you more in Pamps but you can book them there on a daily basis. These are available at the 3 man chair lift. By taking a late deal I would presume you paid a very competitive price and therefore you holiday should still be great value, even though your passes may turn out more costly.

Ski lessons can also be booked on arrival, just ask to see the head of ski school when you get to the hire dept.

re: Pamps advice

the lift pass is nearly £100 for 6 days, in pamporovo, dont know about borovets. If you take a taxi to Chapalare, from pamps about 5-6 m away its only 12lev's per day, just ovber £4. only went for one day, good skiing i thought, just a little limited on choice of slopes.
