Airport arrivals basic but does the job. Coach journey 4 hours from Sofia with a (if your lucky) Maccy D's pit stop.
Our hotel.... .resault, moved from the Panorama to the Lush Malina Residence. A 1 bed brand new apartment, loads of space, and 200m from the Malina depot 2 lift.
Irish Bar (not sure who designed it but I bet they ain't never been to Ireland) next door and a resturant opposite.
15 Lev into town by Taxi or the hotel run there own for 10 Levs, Bargain.

Yeah okay, the snow was not great but at least there was some skiing availible, Blue, Tbar was good, if you wanted to ski at the sides (tbar side where the slarlem poles are was best) following the green down and then back up the 4 man lift to the top.
People; came across 2 types, can't do enough, can't be arsed to do anything. For instance, Friday sat in the Irish Bar starts snowing, around 10.30 we look out and its covered, But we had handed our ski's back, and start to say we could get another morning in before we are picked up, with that a key aperars from the ski shop next door we ushered through are fitted and ski's set ready to pick up at 8 Saturday morning. 2 people 5 hours hire for £5 each, they even offered to buy the passes for us as they get discounted lift passes. Happy days. Only the 2 of us on the Blue with the Bulgarian Olympic team, in mental shut the lift, force 8 gail, snow storm conditions. Awesome. The later unhelpfuls tend to work on the T bar on the blue.
Food; Ummmm! plain.
Eating out tip; Don't plan to eat out on a Friday night its Ski Schoool Presentation and most of the more popular places a rented out.
Reps..Hi Kat Thomsons ski I know you read us. And a Big Hi to Julia Jools Norris, Chrystal, best let the hang over cure before you speak to her in the mornings (joke)
One thing though, Tour Ops...Please look at employing Skiers as Reps.
Sunday Board meeting: my sincere apologies go out to everyone, I did get there but not untill 8 when everyone had moved on.
We had a v. bad accident in the group which ment I was unable to make it. Please let me know how it went.

Oh.... Strange thing you can't bring back Any branded Duty Free. No Ciggies, No Booze. The whole of duty free was covered in Red...Non EU destinations only.

When the snow falls I can't think of a better get away, two and a half hour flight, cheap, nice people, great place to take beginners and a bit of fun for the red and blacks. Will venture back to The Malina Residence it was an ideal position, Now we know the set up and the area it will be great place to take the extended family so the kids can pick up some time on the snow.re: Pamps again????
Saw a lot of people going to her instead of there own Rep. You get a feeling that she loves the place. She knows the people who run the bars and restaurants, which really helps. I would write a letter to Crystal and tell them what a great rep she is, its a hard job and things like that help in placements next season.
