Pamps at xmas?!

Hi,This is my first time ever chatting on the net! I've been coming to this site for weeks and really enjoy it, am I a bit sad?? I had hoped to get a last minute in March unfortunately it's not to be. I would like the opinion of all you experts on Pamps. I have never skiied before, none of my friends fancy it so I will be travelling on my own, I have a week to myself at xmas, should I book and go or am I crazy as my friends are telling me??!!

Ask anyone on here where they would like to be at Xmas and they will tell you........SKIING!!!!!!Go for it, and you will never look back. It is the BEST holiday EVER!!!!!!!!!!

No you are not sad sad is when you cant go more than a day without posting like myself. Are you sure you cant get anything in March? I know Inghams are not sold out and also I checked Balken holidays this afternoon and they had plenty for March.re: Pamps at xmas?!

It's not that I can't get booked, It's a change in circumstances. I'm really disappointed not to be going but unfortunately I'll have to wait untill xmas.I don't even want to try counting the days!!! Do you think I should go for it even tho' I'll be on my own and haven't skiied before. Give me lots of encouragement here as I'd really like to go for it but friends are telling me not to do it!!re: Pamps at xmas?!
Hey FiYou just HAVE to do it, as Pete says, the best holiday ever, you will meet loads of people especially as a beginner - you'll see loads in the same boat at ski school.

I've just come back from a week in Borovets, I went on my own as none of my friends wanted to go, and I had a fantastic time!! I assume Pamps is the same from what I've read on here. You'll meet plenty of people in ski school, and everyone you chat to is really friendly. Go for it!re: Pamps at xmas?!

I took the bold decision to go on my own in 98 it was quite simply the best decision I have ever made and the best holiday ever. I f you want to go skiing and your friends are a boring lot then sod em I say go on your own. In learn to ski you are all in the same boat ie crap! So you all bond really quickly and laugh with/at each other. I am still friends with a much older couple ...

I have just returned from Pamps and it was the first time i have been to a snow resort. I decided to go snowboarding and i have met so many lovely people.
There were 3 skiers in the group and they said that boarding is far better for socialising, but maybe a little harder to pick up but i have had the best time ever!!
I can't wait to go back next year-totally hooked! I was told by George our instructor that the weather is a ...
