Pamps conditions

Is anyone in resort at present as I was wondering whether all runs are now open? I can remember skiing a run from the top that went down the back of the mountain, ended in a forest and the guy then started up a two man chair lift to get you back up? It wasn't open when I went last year but just wondering if that side is now open again? Heading out on 12th Feb so hoping the snow lasts !
I think there was also a bar down on the left of the slope

That run is often called the Smolyan Lakes run. It was open last season when we were there (feb half term) - lovely run apart from the flat bit at the bottom. I drove up it in a car once - that was quite an experience!

We had a look at Smolyan Lakes today - its not officially open or piste'd at the moment so would be very hard going for most! Chair runs all the time now as it services the apartments and hotels down the bottom!

Ask the locals and lifties 1st before going down! Snow and powder that good everywhere else that you will not need to go down it if its not fully open!

Smolyan Lakes is a stunning run, especially the cliffs on your left as you head down. I have never actually seen anyone else on there when I've been down. Just the sound of you riding the snow.

As Phil says though, make sure the lift is deffo running; a few have come unstuck with that in the past.

I also skied it on my own, half way down with the cliffs I was thinking if they had any bears in the forest as no one else was about !
I survived and memory stuck so have been looking forward to doing it again for last couple of years but it has been shut, often due to too much snow and not pisted.
This year could be the year !
