Bulgaria Ski discussion board

Nice to see the board starting to get busy. We`re of to pamps in feb for 2wks This being our 6th year. Unfortunetly for me its just apre ski this year Due to a skiing injury i`m having knee surgery in Jan..however this won`t put me off and i`m looking forward to spending time with friends we have made in Bulgaria whilst hubby and kids ski and board till theirs hearts content. Anyone whose going for the 1st time..... u will love it , both the skiing and the people, met some very good friends over the years, my closest friend being a ski instructor. I know a few new hotels are under construction but think it will be 2007 before they are finished, apart from the new hotel Orlavetz...which I must say looks very impressive.

Sorry to hear of your ski misfortune. We are returning to Pamp's for our second year in feb the whole family enjoyed the experience so much even my novice hubby who we joked would be left at the bar probably in plaster, well the joke was on me I bust my knee and ended up in plaster half way through our holiday good sunbathing & drinking excuse!
Hopefully return to ski in feb although my physio is not confident my knee will be fully recovered for feb 2006 so may probably bump into you for a bit of apre ski
