Pamps in April

Anyone ever been skiing in Pamps in April? We had a great time in Feb this year but want to try Easter next year. Worried about snow conditions as all companies but buklgariaski have stopped by then. Advice please!! And thanks!!

DON,T GO THERE BE NO SNOW. THIS YEAR IS A ONE OF LAST YEAR THERE WAS NO SNOW BY END OF MARCH . LOOK AT THE WEBCAM IN PAMPS FOR LAST MARCH.

Beg to differ, sorry. I do remember one season when we had over 1 meter of fresh snow on the 10th April. It was about 1997. With the depth of snow now there is a good chance you may still be able to use the mountain. Balkan holiday have just extended there program into April so there must be something in it. Try doing a late booking if the webcam pic still looks good closer to the time you want to go

I certainly would not book in advance for April as you have a very poor record of snow then. As Steve says it might well lest this year and has been known before. But had you had tried it last year the only thing you would be skiing on is grass. If you want to book early then I would go for Bansko it is a higher resort and more snow sure than Pamps but even then you will be taking a risk.

go to the french alps above 1800 met you be certain for snow there .

A couple of years ago people were still skiing into May, but that was very exceptional.

Don't risk it.... I would say you have a 1 in 20 chance of skiing at that time of year.
