Pamps in summer

anyone know what pamps is like in summer. would it be a nice holiday location with walking mountain biking and so on. suppose accsess is a problem from the uk though.or does the area close down after ski season.

I think the main 3 man lift up to the tower stays open in the summer. Mountain biking is available. As you said access is problem as you will have to fly into Sofia 3.5 to 4 hours away. Rumours persist of Ryan Air flying to Plovdiv but even if they do I cant see them flying in the summer as surely it would not be profitable enough??

It is brilliant Rick.

You would not recognise the place. All the big hotels remain open and have outside cafes.

The lifts will take you to the top for walking and the meadows we know as ski runs are full of wild flowers and wildlife.

It is facinating to see the slopes without snow and a great vacation not to be missed.
