Last year had Chris one week and Rumen when we went back for a second week. this January George, Chris & Rumen great laugh have you been to their families resteraunt in Chepalare. Fantastic night out!!!!! . George a much more serious instructor less of a laugh but you do learn a lot more
Haven't been there yet Skimad. Planned to make a day of it, skiing Chepalere and then doing the restaurent in the evening.
The lack of snow in Chepalere put paid to the sking and just didn't have enough time to do the evening. Going in Feb and march next year which should give me ample time to get everything done.
Very true what you say, George does take his skiing very, very seriously.
hey i've had tina, plumen and chris. had chris this year and gotta say he is the best so far. he made the most of the lack of snow and it turned out to be a great week!
This is their family hotel btw if anyone fancies a look www.karovhotel.com
THERE WAS 12 OF US ALL BEGINNER AND AFTER THE 2ND DAY WERE ALL SKIING DOWN THE GREEN WITH OUR INSTRUCTOR EMO LOOK AFTER US ALL WELL TOOK US OUT FOR A NIGHT IN HIS HOME PLACE WAS LOVELY.
Some say the trees grow at his feet
They even say the snow parts at his feet
Others say he commands the wind
All we know is his name is Ivan
For all that have been to Pamps this year and have had the pleasure of Ivan as you ski instructor you will know what i mean
Poppa is a great wit - taught me and my 10-year old grandson to ski three years ago, still remembered us last week when I met him on the piste.
This year, Angel Viagos - another ok guy, knew where the (very limited) good bits of snow were. But I haven't had any bad experiences with instructors at Pamps. Though TBH I don't expect any great level of tuition at the intermediate stage in a biggish size (9 this year) group.
