Off to Pamporovo for the first time on Sunday and can't wait!! Can any of you tell me which are the best bars/restaurants/pubs etc in the resort?
I'm a little worried because most reviews seem to say that the most you should hope for is a hotel which is comfy, warm and has hot water!....maybe I've been spoiled with skiing hols in Canada but I thought these things are the very basics that a hotel should offer?
Anyway, I'm sure Pamps will be great - any tips/advice on where to go & what to ...

Best pub/bar on the resort (in my opinion) is BJ's followed by Daks Bar. They are the best and the cheapest.
It really depends on where you are staying in Pamparovo as BJ's and Daks are close to the Perelik, Mourgavettes and Snezanka hotels. There is a night club which is between the Perelik and Mourgavettes and there is a "Club" in the Mourgavettes.
The Pamparovo has a nice Bar called "the Irish Bar" which I would imagine will be occupied on march 17th.

I find Pamparovo very nice indeed. the people are really friendly, the instructors are top notch and the beers really cheap

We've decided to risk it and go with allocation on arrival!Its just a cheap, last minute holiday so all we know is that we're guaranteed 3 star or above in Pamporovo. Hopefully hotel will be ok!Thanks for the info, lets hope for lots of snow!!

I would imagine that you are looking at the Roshen or the Prespa. Both ok and not too far from the nightlife.See you in BJ's lol.

New bar just opened, The white hart, reasonable food and live band every night .The apri ski bar in the perilick now as well.
Do the tour.
Happy Hour BJ's 9-11,Daks 10-12and back to BJs 2-3

I stayed in the Hotel Pamporovo over NY and the Irish Bar was quite good - busy on most nights and especially at the weekends. Have fun! xre: Pamps nightlife

Thanks guys - I've had a look on Balkan website and all 3* hotels look ok. Only 3 days left in work now.... BJ's here we come!!!
