Pamps novice

We're going to Hotel Perelik on Saturday - 2 adults and 14 and 9 year old. Anyone ever stayed in a family room there and if so what's it like - any suggestions re. requests on arrival (eg. balcony room, quite part of hotel etc.). Reading up on reviews we're not expecting much in the food dept but I'm sure it's not all bad? I know it's mid-term but is it really crammed everywhere at this time? I've accumulated a lot of info from reading suggestions and comments on this forum and thanks to all ...

Can't wait!!!!!

re: Pamps novice

The hotel Perelik has recently been refurbished and is really nice now, so not sure what the family rooms are like. The only major things are dont change any money with passers by as it can sometime be fake or of a simular currency that is worthless, dont get to many taxis if you can help it because they cost a bomb and have a great time, but i am sure you will.

re: Pamps novice

always agree the taxi fare before you get in, you should pay no more than 15 lev to get you to the ski depot if you miss the buses because you had a skin full the night before....
Perelik is fine, think all rooms have balcony...

re: Pamps novice

Annie - we were in Pamps last Feb half term. Last year most school had same half term week, but this year it's split - some have this week, some have next. Where we live, all the surrounding authorities have gone for this week - we're the only one who has next. If it's a similar picture over the country as a whole, next week should be a lot quieter than this.

re: Pamps novice

I thought 69 was more of a traditionally "licky number"

re: Pamps novice

we took a family room last year for two 11 year olds and after one night requested a change to two twin rooms beside each other as the kids were sleeping on a pull out sofa bed which was crap - and the stairs up were very steep.
