Hi,
Went to Pamps last weekend, 8th Dec. It had already snowed but had a huge dump overnight on the Saturday.
Went skiing on the Sunday as the lift was open from Studenets to the top. It was a student party weekend so the lifts were open to accommodate them, cost 25levs per day, so good skiing and cheap to boot.
The lodges were mainly closed but Peters bar and the Black Horse were open - most appeared to be getting ready for the official opening of the ski lifts for the weekend just ...

The lift prices were not advertised at anything different to last year, 50 lev per day. We have pre-ordered ours for our main skiing holidays from Bulgariaski.com, the prices are excellent so may be worth checking out for yourselves.
Nothing much appeared to have changed in Pamps apart from the Old House restaurant in the village having been pulled down! Shame nice old traditional restaurant, something to do with legal paperwork on the site on which it was built. Talk was that the White Hart and Meriam hotel may have similar problems, neither were open whilst we were there, but it was out of season so who knows.
We were told that the road they built last year from the mid station to the top, over the green ski run, was well prepared and iced up prior to snow falling. All in all it snowed early and has given a very good base on the runs. It appears to be continuing to snow so a good time should be had by all. Just need to make sure that it keeps going to the end of January!!!
