Saw the topic earlier about passports needing to have at least 6 mths left so checked mine and only had 3 left.
Panic or what so a quick dash to the post office where for the passport fee (£42) and an extra £6 they guarantee a 2 week delivery so the panic is no more. Very Happy

If you are willing to pay nearly £100 you can get a new passport in 24hrs.

If you go to the main office in London, you can get one within the same day! I managed it a few years back, despite all the signs saying. 'We do not issue passports on the same day' or whatever! Very Happy
