Pay to enter Bulgaria?

Is there a fee for a visa when you enter Bulgaria please. i.e. the £10 we have to pay when we go to Turkey. Off to Boro tomorrow. 1 sleep!!! Question

You have to pay when you go to Turkey because it is not part of th EU unlike Bulgaria.

Even before Bulgaria joined the EU you didn't have to pay - you did get a pretty stamp in your passport though
