Here's mine!!!

It was fantastic, never been before (to Borovets) but we will be going again.

After reading some reports on here we were a little bit apprehensive about what it was going ot be like, but were well impressed. I think it depends on what you go for and what you expect.

We stayed at the Rila, and the reports about the food were right, it is all warm (luke warm at best), nothing hot!!! But it was edible.

The ski-ing was great, it got a bit icy on one day, but it snowed most of Friday and all Friday night and looked REALLY good for Saturday.

We went to Brovets the same week last year so knew roughtly what to expect. The snow was generally good but a bit thin on the lower slopes; as it was snowing on Friday and with more on the way when we left, things should have improved.The x country route to the bottom gondela is bloodly hard work and smells of horse poo without plenty of snow!
Malina village was a basic (as expected) but quiet so not much problem getting some kip! One thing, the free bus service (also for Yagoda) was very erratic (same driver as last year -he hates English) please report to rep if this is a problem again.
Lift queues- Wed was mad/bad not helped by lots of people pushing in (which makes my blood boil) they were also bad on Friday, again pushing in a problem.
Food- starting roughtly at the top of town working down hill
Alpin, very good international food, not cheap.
Golden Horn, (off nursey slope) good honest pub type grub, try some of the local dishes
Francos very very good fresh pizza
mexican- oposite ice rink very good spicy (some dishes hot) not the cheapest but still very good value, might need to book good but loud band.
Green King -good food, good value- suit party rather than couples (large tables)
Chinese (Red Dragon? I think, just down the hill from the Samakov) very very good food, generous portions (not quite as large as last year) waiter who will remember everybodies order even if there is 20 of you!
