Help first time to Pamporovo we are staying at the Perelik and I can not believe the difference in the comments on trip advisor from very good too very very disgusting. But it was all we could get. Any ideas on the truth?

I think it varies tremendously depending on what people are actually expecting - its the same for Hotel Pamporovo and Snezhanka - sometimes its hard to believe the reviews are all about the same place.

Are you on the 'all Inclusive' deal at the Perelik? I stayed there last year and it was great! Food good and AI drinks are great! In the restaurant there was a beer & wine tap where you could help yourself and a waiter who poured out any spirits you wanted, he was really good and always wanted you to try the spirits ( I used to give him a couple of Lev each night so he always looked after me!). I am a wine drinker myself so the wine tap took a hammering! However, there are time ...

All your meals on the slopes, lunch & afternoon snacks etc (if AI) are at the restaurant right by the 3 man chairlift and the food there was superb, however, you could only have soft drinks on the AI. I've been going to Pamps for over 20 years and I've stayed at most of the hotels and I found the Perelik very good. Hope this helps

Must agree with Trevor, I was also there last year (same time as trev) we enjoyed ourselves that much we are going back this season. My son was not feeling well on the last two days and was able to use the restaurant on the slopes in the afternoon without the added worry that you need to keep buying drinks to stop there. overall I rated the Perlik as
Room - 7/10 basic and clean, what more do you need, afterall you only sleep in it.
food - 7/10 plenty of choice, food warm not hot, but ...

Apres ski - 10/10, swimming pool, pool tables, bowling and shopping all in the same hotel complex, no need to leave on an evening.
If you go wanting 5 star you will be disappointed, if you go wanting a hotel to use whilst not skiing you wont

Hi Gary,Not booked yet as my son has A level exams, but will look at something later in the season. Will definably go back to Perelik, can't fault it! When are you going?
