came back 14th jan the perelik is a fantastic hotel although the food was naff but its so cheap to eat out it didnt matter loved the way you could go drinking and eating without going outside all the bars and restraunts are in corridors between the perelik and murgavets no need for a coat
dont know much about perelik but bj"s is the bar to go
i would suggest even if you only go for the first few days
ski lessons are a good idea just to refresh you on the basics
by the way elsie i'm 49 and my wife is 48 never skied before yes we were knackered but nothing to worry about cheaper to pay for the learn to ski package then do your own thing two in our group only came for one day never seen them for the rest off the week
you will get up in the morning and ache like hell best advice is try and have a hot bath after skiing no matter how tempting do not go straight to the bar or to sleep get in hot water and you should ache less. hit the bar first and you will die from the pain the next day! i found that once i got moving again i was fine, although down the gym every night this time to stop the pain. as for the leasons nine years is a long time i would probably have leasons especially if that was your first ...

Perelik is one of the best hotels in Pamporovo and there is now a warm link to the new Orolovets 5 star hotel as well as the Murgavets.
I would recommend ski school without hesitation, the instructors are brilliant.
Yo will need to be reasonable fit, especially the legs and in particular the thighs, cycling is good if you cant get to the gym and the advice about getting into hot water is sound except most rooms in the perelik only have showers. As soon as you get back from skiing go to your ...

Yo will need to be reasonable fit, especially the legs and in particular the thighs, cycling is good if you cant get to the gym and the advice about getting into hot water is sound except most rooms in the perelik only have showers. As soon as you get back from skiing go to your room, get changed and head for the sauna and pool. You will need flip flops. Saunas are single sex so be prepared for some hairy great european type to be in there throwing loads of water on the coals. Then try the beer, there's a bar in the pool complex. Massages cost from about 25 leva for an upper body, prices are on display in the pool entrance lobby. have a great time.
i would recommend you do some kind of fitness, but has for the hot water well belive it or not cold is better for you helps the blood flow through those tired muscles as i recall the pool in the perelik is cold enough for you.. also belive it or not beer helps to break down lactic acid about 2 pints will help loads thats not a wind up its a fact.. also after sking try and do some walking or exersise that will help stop the stiffing up on the 3rd day or maybe the 2nd lol...but above all its ...

To everyone that has replied, have taken it all on board-particularly like the drinking advice!! This site is great and everyones fab! I wont say the dreaded words but...I really really cant!! You all got me soooooo excited!! Be brilliant to meet people out there, so glad I went for this hol rather than a cheap sun holiday!
Thanks again.
