re: Pete getting worried

Mark,

If there was regular snow in November then the Bulgarians would start their season in November. As this is not generally the case, they do not start the season until mid December.

I still wouldn't expect any prolonged snowfall for at least another 2-3 weeks. If by then there was no snow I would begin to worry, but certainly not worried in the slightest at the mo.

Mark where the snow shoul come from?

Normally this time of the year it is much colder anythere in Europe, I cannot remember that I have so many trainings on bike in short clothes in november. The highest temps. in Berlin are around 15°C and no more 4 weeks to christmas. Be sure there will be a nice winter in Bulgaria as every year. Last year first serious snowfall in Berlin came on 26.12. and then we biggest lake in Berlin was frozen in late march....
