Hi All,Seems to be some confusion over whether you need a photo for Bansko - you don't and they don't take one there. Your list pass has a bar code and your name on it but no photo. It is unlikely that this will change in the near future as a lot of the lifts brand new this season and all work on this method.

Maybe you could clarify then, because according to the official Bankso Ski resort Internet site, one of the Rules regulating the use of the ski area is:
"A personal photograph that is printed on the ski pass is required for all ski passes for 3 days or more. The photograph will be taken at the cash desk at the time of purchase. The holder of the ski pass should be present at time of purchase of the ski pass"
Also Helen, did you use the KeyCard, which gives you contactless ...

I am recently back from Bansko.You do not need a photo for any kind of pass
The passes are contactless (?) ie they stay in your pocket (one of your left hand side ones) and the gates open automatically

Hi YTBonzo is right - no photo required.
they use contactless passes that you keep in your pocket. This applies to the whole of the resort and is ulikely to have changed in the three weeks since I got back!

Nevertheless , if the lift staff ask you to show your skipass , they will easily understand that you are not bulgarian. If I were them , I would check the price not the photo .If you pay correct price level , what is the reason of adding photos ?
Please note when I was there , nobody asked me to show the skipass.
