Hi there please help with this if you can - we will arrive in Bansko on 3rd at around 5pm - I was wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere we can go close to the Bansko Royal Towers for a drink and then eat - I always like to 'wet the holidays head!' I need somewhere close as it will be dark and we have never been to Bansko (nor Bulgaria) before and I will have 2 nagging kids after 8hr car journey!!!
I really appreciate this!!!!!

BRT ??? with kids ??? near ???
Try `Friendly' bar, under the Fortuna, straight across the traffic lights from the BRT, well lit, even after midnight...
Not the best bar, not the cheapest... but late, good atmosphere, and foods reasonable, and its kid friendly...
Actually, if your up from Greece, it will be cheap !!!
By the way, its packed here, mostly with your countrymen !!! hehehehehehe
Erm, again not good with names but there are a few bars within walking distance up near the gondola, again in te town with local mehanas you will notice a pric difference, the Frindly bar although cheap by wht we're used to is actually quite pricey if you move away from local beer/lager...
Thanks - will probably try the first place that looks welcoming (hubby won't want to go in if it's predominantly Greek) ! Packing has a mixture of all clothes - just waiting for hubby's crappy heap to go in - that should be putting his hand in the wardrobe and pulling out two of whatever he grabs first. Which is great as I've only left him about 5cm of space.
Just thinking about closeby as I don't want to be wondering around like a lost soul .... I like to know where I'm going.
I like ...

I like being English and despite living out of UK for 22yrs I am still a Brit through and through and PROUD of it! When I go back I slip into my old accent and ways in about 1hr. My kids are brought up as Greeks (obviously) but are very pro-UK - I feel they get the best of both worlds.
I assume 'nightmuffy' is right about one thing - Bulgaria can't be anywhere near as expensive as Greece (which is more expensive than UK)- but 22yrs ago Greece was dirt cheap as well - enjoy Bulgaria while you can!
