Is it the same source that claimed Pamporovo will be a 6 month a year ski resort?

No - it is not and I can't remember any claim being made that Pamporovo will be a 6 month a year ski resort. Apart from the fact that it was mentioned that Perelik has snow in May - as it did this year.

there is no reason why low cost airlines will not operate for 12 weeks of the winter season, they do it for many other locations.they operate were the demand isre: Plovdiv Airport - fingers crossed

I don't think they do Philip. Wizz, Easy and Ryan all seem to have routes they fly to every week to my knowledge I may be wrong.I think you are confusing them with charter flights which is a different thing altogehter. I don't doubt 1 of them may well look at it but I would be suprised if the demand is there for all 3 of them and possibly charter flights.
