Daniel
I think you will find that the airlines are flexible with their route planning. in summer they fly to summer destinations and winter to winter destinations. This def happens with easyjet and ryanair.I am not confusing it with charters

Is this thread still alive?

Just to reconfirm, none of the low cost carriers will fly to Plovdiv. They will not introduce risky new routes, and this would be very risky, in the current climate.

The only resort this would benefit is Pamporovo, and that has fallen out of favour over the last few years, due to the terrible infastructure and poor snow.

The low costs airline will serve only Sofia in the winter, and there is no way Sofia Airport will let one of their low cost carrier ...

The low costs airline will serve only Sofia in the winter, and there is no way Sofia Airport will let one of their low cost carrier partners expand to Plovdiv, they will offer far more attractive conditions!!
