Plovdiv flights

The travel agent just rang and no news on Plovdiv flights, UK carriers are now saying mid April for a decision as to whether they are going to use this airport or not.

Even Mid April is too early for them to make a decision. They will wait to see what the load factor is like around the end of November, before they enter the compensation period for changing the airports

We have always re booked almost immediately when we have returned in previous years, never been any doubt about airports before this year, and can't wait till November to book in any case.
Would imagine a lot of people the same, school holidays etc, looks like another quiet year for Pamps next year.

I'm sure I've read about the new terminal being completed this Summer Maybe the airlines are waiting on that?

Bartezki 'n' me off to Italy next Feb half term - no worries 'bout snow, no probs with airport and transfers. Yes, it's cost us a bit more ... but hey, life's too short ....!

Hmm... well nothing, but if you read B's original post, we were going to wait and see if we could get flights to Plovdiv. However, because the decision's now been put back, we decided we simply can't wait - all packages for Feb half term will be booked up by then. That's prompted us to look elsewhere for the first time in five years. I would think there'll be a lot of people in the same boat
