Plovdiv question

Does anybody know where I can check conditions at the airport i.e fog? I've looked on their website and considering all the mass improvements and modernising of the airport (can't wait to get in that smoking room!) - their webpage is useless!

Hi smiggerThere is a flight due in from Plovdiv at east midlands airport and its on time so it seems airport up and running and no fog
We share your concerns as we're flying to plodiv next weekend especially after hearing all the horror stories re fog

We flew back from Plovdiv today + conditions were fine and clear - however got diverted to Sofia last week due to fogwhich was a real pain!re: Plovdiv question

just flew back from plovdiv today.Different story last week when we were due to land there. we were told five minutes before landing that we were having to land in sofia due to fog. On a flight only so no guarantee of free coach transfer. Lined the pocket of a rep and sneaked onto a tour transfer bus to pamporovo. Heard others had to find rooms in sofia and travel next day. Taxi drivers charging 400levs. Could have been worse as the week before both airports closed due to fog and planes ...
