Plovdiv to Pamps

I know it is an hour and a half transfer but is it true that it takes yonks to get thru passport control and customs?

Yes - 1 passport control guy and he records your passport number onto his computer by typing the numbers in - no bar code scanner.
Be patient he's got a job to do and a gun

Half an hour or thereabouts, but the bus won't go without you so even if your first through you still need to wait for everyone else.
Anyone else had similar experience ?

just a word of warning....has always taken us arount 30 to 40 min but in Jan a very long and tiring 2 hours....going back in feb and the thought of that Sad Sad Sad but when arriving in pamparovo it becomes a distant memory Very Happy Very Happy

2 years ago I thought it was the quickest I had gone thro' in any airport and got onto a bus
Last year it took a bit longer due to someone forgetting a child standing alone in the airport!!!!!!
but the biggest wait is going home

we were in pamps last week and we didn't have any problems through customs. The guys in the passport office do scrutinise your passport a little, but i think they are probably just having a laugh at every1s pics.
