Plovdiv?

I like organising my own thing would it be farcical to fly to plovdiv and drive to ski resorts??

we fly into plovdiv and its like a shed, no car rental or anything. Takes about an hour and a half to get to Borovets by bus.

depends on the weather at the time, I sometimes get the flight only and pay the additional £15 for coach transfers, its much less hassle/money than hiring a car or getting a taxi....
