Polaris is a good place to stay, nice apartments and friendly staff also good veiws of the mountains. It takes 5 or 10 mins to walk to gondola (my husband would do it in 5 me in 10) and the best place for a drink straight after skiing is The Happy End right outside the gondola and you can virtually ski right to it. The Victoria restuarant is a good place for a meal (very busy, so you need to book) but not expensive and good choices. Also most of the big hotels have very good restuarants ...

Harry's Bar is good also (your teenagers will love it as it is quite cool) and they do a great breakfast.Hope you have fun, Bansko is a great resort.
