Have u tried hiring skies etc it just aint as advertised my experience has been so dissapointing.
one group at the Gondola station wouldnt give lift pass and skis (and therefore advertised discount),
went to another but just got a response of maybe if you can come back tommorow...
ski school advertised at another but sorry ski's only no instructors available...
asked about individual ski instructors at another - sorry not enough instructors, go and join a group of 30....

It appears that the Bulgarians in Bansko just don't care - have to rate customer service 1 out of 10. If they want to become a world class resort they need to sort our thier customer relations!
I'm amazed - the amount the Brits are investing that we still get treated poorly compared to say the Russians. Had I visited before I probably wouldn't of wasted my money. Its easier to get the French to speak English!!!
Nearly every Bulgarian you meet at the resorts speak English, and the treatment I have received in over 20 visits to Bulgaria has been exceptional.
Do not generalise just because you had one bad experience, especially as you are posting from Bulgaria on the same IP address - I am very suspicious as to your motives!.
I, too, was a tad dismayed at the 'whatever' attitude I received in Bansko last year when attempting to book private instruction....ended up just walking away and forgetting about it...disappointing episode.
